We currently have a new opportunity for a full-time Rostering and Allocations Coord inator to join the team in based at Central Services in Hawthorn East on a maternity leave contract 6-12 months.

Reporting to the Manager of Care Coordination, your responsibilities will include:

• Appropriate allocation of care staff to clients
• Allocate and prioritise shifts accordingly to maintain continuity of care with appropriately skilled staff
• Daily database management including client roster/client program changes and carer availability
• Development and maintenance of client services/care plans
• Undertake visits with allocated clients
• Participating in after hours on-call on a rotating roster, providing all required actions and reports
• Regular analysis of carer hours and client requirements to anticipate staffing needs
• Management of care staff, providing feedback, coaching and mentoring. 

You will have outstanding customer service skills, IT proficiency in MS Word & Excel and proven experience in Aged Care (Certificate III advantageous). Previous experience in allocations and/or care planning is preferable. You must have strong capability to manage conflicting demands, multi-task and have good attention to detail.

This is a maternity leave position with full time hours (38 hours per week) with a potential view to permanency or other opportunities within BlueCross at the end of the term.
