This firm is a locally established multidisciplinary consultancy that in the last few years has experienced tremendous growth, nearly doubling their team and establishing new business units and offices, as a result of this growth a new management opportunity has organically presented itself within the organisation. This firm is focussed on buildings of a small to medium scale in the residential, commercial, industrial and education markets.
As the Structural Manager you will lead a total of approx. 20 engineers and drafters in the delivery of projects, day to day as well as strategic management and planning of the business unit, business development, utilisation and indeed all other functions of the Structural Team.
As the ideal candidate you will have:
In reward for your contributions and commitment, you would be entitled to a highly attractive salary package which is expected to be between $120,000 and $150,000 as a total package, however would be flexible as commensurate with your skills and experience, you will be a key member of the management team in a core function of the business, and thus may be entitled to ownership in the future.

- A suitable and relevant degree in engineering, with additional management training being advantageous
- 10+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer within the local market
- Some experience in managing and mentoring junior team members, whether formal or informal
- A sound technical ability
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
