Our client is a specialised group with clinics and day surgeries across Australia.
This role is based in a busy hub within the City of Moreland. It is a general ophthalmic clinic with cataract, diabetic, retinal and oculoplastic specialist services and consulting rooms.
This is an exc iting opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager with the capability to manage a small close-knit team. The person we are looking for should be from a healthcare background who can demonstrate solid supervision and leadership skills in a similar environment or specialist consulting rooms.

Your ability to ensure the clinic is offering exceptional customer service and business excellence will cement your position as an integral part of a constantly evolving national business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide overall supervision and leadership to the team (Administration, Reception and Clinical/Technical)
- Recruitment of administration staff and induction of new employees
- Ongoing monitoring, training and performance management of staff
- Provide going planning, co-ordination, monitoring and evaluation of all aspects relating to the practice, and implement improvements/changes where necessary
- Ensure the delivery and standard of the organisation’s processes and procedures are maintained at a high standard
- In conjunction with the State Operation’s Manager, monitor income/expenses and analyse statistical and financial reports
- Develop business plan, strategic plans and marketing initiatives in conjunction with the State Operation’s Manager
- Nurture and continue to maintain and develop strong relationships with referring practitioners
