Site Manager
- $15mil project in Melbourne\\\'s West
- 60 site personnel at any one time
- Permanent role with a very good salary package
Ideal for an applicant that's looking for long term career role, on projects in excess of $10mil. It's not a role where the Site Manager will sit in the shed and delegate out the day to day work, it's hands-on and will have the Site Manager heavily involved with each trade.
The initial project is in Melbourne's west, an area my client completes a number of jobs per year. This main contractor builder has been around for 40 years, is well set up with management and support personnel and are respected for their efficient, timely and safe delivery of projects.
They need a Site Manager capable of building a cold storage warehouse. Due to the size and complexity, applicants MUST have completed similar projects, especially jobs valued in excess of $10mil. The site is going to be busy with up to 60 people at any one time, so experience running this number of people is paramount.
Your role will involve short term programming, supervising and running trades, safety management, and liaising with the office, architects, the client and council. You will be looking for opportunities to push the job along, so a large part of your role will involve moving one trade in behind the other.
